“I get by with a little help from my friends”

Working with Highland Hospice

Sutherland Care Forum is here to help a wide variety of people in East Sutherland whose needs are not being met by statutory authorities.

Working with Highland Hospice

Highland Hospice came into partnership with us so we could offer their clients who return or remain at home the same befriending as our Friends at Home clients. Some of our SCF volunteers recently completed the Highland Hospice No One Dies Alone (NODA) training to enable us to offer this service to our clients too. We are also in partnership with Seaforth House, Golspie, and the Lawson and Migdale Hospitals to allow us, if needed, to sit with residents or patients for periods within the last 24-48 hours of life giving respite time for staff and family.

SCF
