Many older people in our community are unable to access affordable toenail cutting services and those who live in isolated locations can find it especially difficult to find someone to cut their nails. Good foot care is important in retaining mobility and remaining active. Overgrown toenails are not only uncomfortable but can lead to people being forced to wear inappropriate footwear which can in turn lead to slip and falls.
